When creating work I feel like I am always asking a question and that art is largely a process of discovery. The mixed media images I create are whimsical and dream-like, and I tend to think of them as internal landscapes, where I go walking the forests and hills of my own mind. The atmospheres of there pieces are largely inspired by my love of the woods and fairytales, though these days the impetus of the work is typically my experience as woman and a mother.

Even though my work is personal in nature, I hope that people are able to see a piece of their own story within the images and objects I create.
